THE RULETREE FIELD GUIDE

A small guide to growing.

3,000 NFTs. 8 colors. 4 shapes. Every node leaves a rule for what comes next.

Scheduled opening: October 2, 2026 at 03:00 UTC. The countdown shows the time remaining; minting is available only when the collection is open on-chain.

01 / Getting started

The collection price is 0.0007 ETH per NFT, plus network gas. You can mint up to 3 NFTs per wallet in total, one NFT per transaction. Roots and children share the same allowance; transferring an NFT does not reset it.

  1. Prepare your wallet. Use an EVM-compatible wallet. On desktop, use its browser extension. On mobile, open this website inside the wallet’s built-in browser. This site currently connects to browser-injected wallets, not QR-based WalletConnect.
  2. Use Robinhood Chain. You need ETH on Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663), not just ETH on Ethereum or another network. Follow the official network setup instructions. Keep enough ETH for both the NFT and gas.
  3. Choose your starting point. Root NFT starts a new tree. Child NFT attaches to an existing token ID. You do not need to own the parent; the new NFT belongs to the wallet that mints it.
  4. Choose a color and shape. Colors: red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, purple and white. Shapes: circle, square, triangle and diamond. A child must follow its direct parent’s rule.
  5. Set your own rule. This rule applies to future direct children of your new NFT, not to the entire tree.
  6. Review and confirm. When minting is open, connect your wallet and select Mint. Check the network, destination, payment and gas in your wallet before confirming. Wait for confirmation before submitting another mint.

“Mint coming soon” means payments are disabled on this site. You can still explore the trait picker without connecting a wallet.

02 / Five ways to shape a branch

None
No restriction on your direct children.
Color
Direct children must use your selected color. Their shapes are unrestricted by this rule.
Shape
Direct children must use your selected shape. Their colors are unrestricted by this rule.
Max children
Allow between 1 and 10 direct children. This is a lifetime count, not the number currently owned by any wallet.
Time lock
Direct children can be minted after a delay of 60 seconds to 30 days, measured from your NFT’s mint time. The form accepts seconds: 3,600 = 1 hour; 86,400 = 1 day.

Example: A parent requires green. You mint a green circle beneath it and choose Shape. Your children must now be circles, but they can choose any color. The grandparent’s color rule does not carry forward.

Your chosen traits, parent and rule cannot be edited after minting. A rule limits what children are allowed; it does not guarantee that anyone will mint them.

03 / After minting

The confirmation message includes a transaction link. Open it in the explorer to find the token ID and recipient. NFT artwork and metadata are generated on-chain. Some wallets may take time to display the NFT or may require manual import using the collection address and token ID.

Keep your token ID if you want to share it as a starting point for a new branch. Owning an NFT is different from your wallet’s mint count: receiving a transferred NFT does not consume a mint, and sending one away does not restore a mint.

04 / Help & safety

  • No wallet detected? Enable your wallet extension, or open the site in your mobile wallet’s browser.
  • Wrong network? Switch to Robinhood Chain and check the network in your wallet.
  • Child rejected? The parent may not exist, require another color or shape, be time-locked, or have reached its child limit.
  • Pending transaction? Check the explorer link first. A slow confirmation is not a reason to pay again.
  • Transaction reverted? No NFT was minted by that transaction. The network may still charge gas.
  • Allowance used? The limit is 3 mints per wallet across roots and children.

RuleTree never asks for a seed phrase or private key. Do not send ETH directly to an address to mint; use the site’s mint action. Review every wallet request. NFTs are collectibles with no promised resale value, profit or future rewards.
